Photo Guidelines
| Required: | Photo releases signed by parent/guardian Children from infancy through five years of age Children from a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds.

| Topics: | Children in early care and education programs Children with their families Children with adults, in small groups, and by themselves.
|
| Activities: | Playing in activity areas or outside. Being physically active. Talking. Reading. Spending time with adults, in pairs, or in small groups.
|
| Mood: | Candid shots, showing the natural relationships of children in their daily life.
|
| Composition: | 50% of each face should be visible of the main photo subject.
|
| Rejected: | Photos that promote retail products or show children using electronic media.
|
| Technical: | 5 inches by 3 inches and 300 dpi.
